Lunox

Before the world had a name, there was only the Twilight — a state of perfect balance between the forces of Order and Chaos, Light and Dark, Creation and Destruction. The Twilight Goddess was its keeper, a being of pure duality who existed in both states simultaneously, never fully one or the other.

Then the great war came. The forces of the Abyss and the forces of the Sacred Light clashed in a battle that shook the foundations of reality, and the Twilight was shattered. The Goddess, caught between the two forces, was torn apart — her essence scattered across the Land of Dawn in fragments of light and shadow.

Lunox is what remained. A young woman with no memory of her divine origin, found wandering the ruins of a battlefield with stars in her eyes and chaos in her hands. She was taken in by the Order of Light, who recognized in her the fragments of something ancient and tried to teach her to suppress the darkness within. For years she tried. For years she failed.

The darkness was not a corruption. It was half of who she was.

Now Lunox walks the line between both powers, channeling Order and Chaos in equal measure. In battle she shifts between states — radiant and destructive, healing and annihilating — a living embodiment of the balance the world lost. She does not seek to restore the Twilight. She has come to understand that she is the Twilight, and that the world must learn to live with what she is.
