He stands nearly three meters tall, his body a monument to decades of brutal training in conditions that would kill ordinary men. His hook — a weapon of his own design, forged from the bones of a sea monster he killed with his bare hands at age seventeen — is both his signature and his legend.

He was not always the champion of his people.
