The Elven Kingdom of Elf Camp has endured for three thousand years — a civilization of extraordinary beauty, ancient wisdom, and a deep connection to the natural magic that flows through the roots of the world. Estes has been its king for two hundred of those years, and in that time he has seen empires rise and fall, alliances form and shatter, and the slow creep of darkness that no amount of beauty can hold back forever.

He did not want to be king. As a young elf, Estes was a healer — a student of the Moon Elf healing arts who believed that the greatest power was not the ability to destroy, but the ability to restore. He spent his early centuries traveling the Land of Dawn, healing the wounded in wars he had no part in, tending to the sick in villages that had never heard of the Elven Kingdom.

The crown found him anyway. When the previous king fell in battle against the forces of the Abyss, the elders looked for the most powerful healer in the kingdom — someone who understood both the fragility and the resilience of life. They found Estes in a field hospital three hundred miles from home, his hands glowing with healing light, surrounded by soldiers who would have died without him.

He accepted the crown on one condition: that the Elven Kingdom would never again wait behind its walls while others bled. Two centuries later, Estes still fights on the front lines, his healing magic sustaining allies who would otherwise fall, his presence a reminder that the most powerful force in any battle is the will to keep the people beside you alive.
